7–14 Day Japanese Sponsored Article Workflow

JCA Media publishes a Japanese-language sponsored article within 7–14 days of acceptance for overseas Web3 teams. This page documents the day-by-day workflow, what we need from you on day zero, what we deliver, and what factors can extend the timeline. It is not a service description — for service scope see /japan-crypto-sponsored-content; for general decision context see /guides/how-to-publish-sponsored-crypto-articles-in-japan.

At a glance: the 7–14 day commitment

The 7–14 day window starts on the day of acceptance, not the day of initial contact. Acceptance is the editorial review decision returned within 24 hours of receiving complete pitch materials. The 14-day end of the window is the publication date; the 7-day low end is achievable when the source materials are clean and the sponsor approver returns the single revision round within 48 hours.

The window does not include sponsor delay on the revision round, third-party legal review on the sponsor side, or coordinated launch-date holds. Those factors push delivery past 14 days, which we communicate explicitly when scheduled.

Day-by-day breakdown

The standard workflow is broken into six gates, each with an explicit sponsor-side or JCA-side responsibility.

  • Day 0— Sponsor sends English pitch with source materials, target reader, sponsor identity preference, and approver contact. JCA returns editorial acceptance or rejection within 24 hours. Acceptance also includes the private fixed quote and the agreed publication window.
  • Day 1–2— JCA editorial reviews the source materials, drafts the Japanese-language angle, identifies any clarification questions, and returns a Japan-angle outline for sponsor confirmation. Sponsor confirms or requests outline-level adjustments.
  • Day 3–5— JCA produces the Japanese-language draft as Japan-original copy, not as a translation of the English release. Local terminology and Japan-market framing are applied at draft stage, not retrofitted after translation.
  • Day 6–8— Sponsor reviews the Japanese draft and returns one revision request. Revision is a single round; multiple sequential revision rounds are not part of the standard workflow.
  • Day 9–12— JCA applies the revision, runs a final editorial pass (factual accuracy, neutrality, sponsored labeling, internal link integrity, metadata), and confirms the publication date with the sponsor.
  • Day 13–14— Publication on japancryptoagency.com with visible Sponsored label at the top of the article, IndexNow submission (Bing/Yandex), delivery URL emailed to sponsor, and 7-day post-publish reach snapshot scheduled.

What we need from you on Day 0

A complete Day 0 package keeps the workflow on the seven-day end of the window. Missing items push the workflow toward the fourteen-day end or past it.

  • English press release, announcement, or product page URL
  • Source materials: whitepaper, audit report, partnership doc, or official documentation
  • Target Japanese reader (retail, developer, institutional, builder)
  • Desired publication date or window
  • Sponsor identity preference (visible sponsor name vs sponsor-anonymized label)
  • Off-limits topics or framings
  • One named sponsor-side approver with working timezone

What we deliver

Each completed sponsored article delivers the following artifacts to the sponsor.

  • Public URL on japancryptoagency.com
  • Visible Sponsored label at the top of the article, in body font size
  • IndexNow submission (Bing/Yandex)
  • Delivery summary email with the URL and the as-published copy
  • 7-day post-publish reach snapshot (page-level impressions, click-through where available)

What can extend the timeline beyond 14 days

The published window assumes a single sponsor revision round and reasonable sponsor-side response times. The following factors push delivery past 14 days, and we communicate the revised window explicitly when they apply.

  • Sponsor-side response on the revision round taking longer than 72 hours
  • Third-party legal review on the sponsor side (typical for funded projects)
  • Coordinated launch-date holds (mainnet, listing, public sale embargoes)
  • High-risk claims requiring additional editorial substantiation (rare; usually declined upstream at acceptance)
  • Japanese-language source materials missing on Day 0 when localization needs the sponsor’s help
